So Saturday I went to a Monster Fish Keeper’s (or MFK) Meeting. So after a 45 minute train ride I got to the place. Let me tell you I was surprised to see so many MFK members..lol I had a bunch of placing member usernames with faces. Hanging out “being one of the guys’ was awesome. I loved sharing fish stories and experiences with everyone and sharing pictures. The raffle was awesome I ended up getting a pair of Wild Jack Dempsey which are amazing creatures. I enjoyed my time there,  I came out of there with many friends. It was worth going over there and meeting new people and seeing new fish. Sometimes you need to take chances and meet new people, its worth giving it a go.  I can’t wait for the next one hehe.

Sorry about the extremely short update,  But I will upkeep on blogging more often. Till then, take care everyone.

Chocolate Is My Friend- Weight Gain, My Enemy

I sat down today and actually looked at some pictures from five years ago and I notice something.. I’ve gained a bunch of weight! Holy Crap! I’m 20 lbs. heavier than i was when i got married…lol. Okay so I am taking the initiative and I plan to start working out monday at least 5 days a week- to get myself back into whale trainer shape. I allowed myself to gain weight because my surgery would limit my ability to do anything. Lung surgery is a serious surgery. I am glad to be alive today. Long story short I had what’s called spontaneous Pneumothorax (my lung collapsed out of no where- I don’t smoke either) And I needed a chest tube and some emergency surgery. To properly heal- I couldn’t lift anything, or make any force at all for 2 1/2 yrs. It’s been 4 years since it happened.

But Like I said i am going to get myself back into whale trainer shape. Time for me to tighten and tone and also get my strength back up. I can’t believe how much I have changed. I guess it hit me when I changed into a 2 piece Bikini in december and looked in the mirror .. Whoa!! where did that come from!?. Sometimes it takes a knock in the head to realize its time to get toned. I plan to start Monday to start-up. In my family I have a very obese sister (she weighs over 300lbs) and my mom is in the upper 200lbs. So its time to not be lazy and get my ass up to work out! I know a few people out there like me..lol So thanks for listening to my random rant..

Goodbye 2009- Welcome 2010

Happy New Year Everyone!! For the first time in 28 Years, I went to see the ball drop up close in 42nd street. that night was insane. During the time I waited for the evening to come, I spent some time at Madam Tussauds Wax Museum. It was pretty interesting. I hung out with Jim Carrey, Johnny Depp and Miley Cyrus. Talked world peace to Fidel Castro and Chilled with P.Diddy and the Clintons..lol I saw some interesting sights and people.

Shakira was there, And of course  our commander and chef- Obama. All in all it was a fun time.  On our way out, we took the biggest walk of our lives, we had to walk all the way to 57th street and wait in line against hundreds of tourists and New Yorkers alike. It was fun to a point. Every last minute of every hour we would count down and some fireworks would go off. What was also fun was the screen would get people going telling people to cheer if their Hot, cold, boy, girl, frozen, etc. And then the Hail started. Nothing like standing around for 5 hours in the freezing rain, against a bunch of people, waiting for a ball to drop. LOL. But either way  I had some fun. though i ended up going home towards the end of the last hour before our new year.

Some personal thoughts- The year has come and gone and a new year has started. More memories to create, people to make friends with, family to be with. Every moment is special. I lost my grandfather, the last of my grandparents in december of 2009- 3 weeks before christmas. I guess with this new year, it gives us to live life alot better, because its another chance at life.

My unexpected flight to Puerto Rico

I had to take an unexpected trip to Puerto Rico, this past week, yep 2 weeks before christmas, why? well my grandfather died. My granddad was sick for a few months on and off. But it was the heart attack that killed him. This is life, my other granddad  passed away in Halloween of 2008.  Well once we arrived in Puerto Rico,we were greeted to some nice hot 90 degree, weather compared to the freezing cold 14 degree weather that we had back at home.

Well i went to help with the preparations and ate some dinner. The second day,  we got to the funeral home, i walked up with my dad to view my granddad.. alone. it was a sad moment. Being with my dad it made me feel a bit closer to him. I wasn’t able to travel with him the year my grandma passed away, because i was sick. Now that i don’t hang out with my dad as much due to my personal life, it’s just nice to be able to talk to him and spend time with him, even thought the reason for us being there was entirely of a different purpose.

I believe there is a reason for everything. Life is something precious, and sometimes it takes a bad situation to make you realize things. After we buried my granddad, I spent the rest of the week hanging out with my dad, shopping and some beach time. though we are home now, I still call him to see whats going on. Well I must go now. take care everyone.

Partying, Music and Cake @ Club Touch NYC

DSC_4649_copy

The picture above wast taken at Touch NYC  last night. I had a great time. Though it was a bit last minute and my plans to see “Paranormal Activity” were shot short cause of my boss calling me in for a job. I dragged Milton along with me and it was interesting. When we got there, Mars Volta was on the other side  Playing @ the Roseland Ballroom. As I met up with my boss,  he had some famous soccer player from Columbia in tow. (not that i can’t remember names, i just dont watch sports, unless its baseball- Go Yankees!!) We greeted each other and did our introductions and we waited for one other person.me and milton on the red carpetOkay once he got there we went into the club (with a bit of an issue..lol i forgot my ID and cause i look so young, im always getting carded..lol) There a bunch of Celebrities there,  the group Aventura was there, along with the Ladies fromt he Ms. Latina Pagent and other people that I kinda forgot because i was Overwhemed by the sights. As we approached the red carpet, they interviewed my boss while the rest of us took photos and smiled..It was nice to have so much attention lavished on us..

Once our photoshoot was done we entered the place, talk about Amazing!!  I was talking to my boss if I can book this place for my 30th birthday in 2 years.  Oh man there were so many people and the bar was amazing I was mesmerized by the lights, colors people and the venue in general. the dance floor was beautiful and the stage just great. The lights on the sides of the wall changed colors and the amazing thing to me was the bar, wherever you placed a drink, the bottom lit up.

So we all talked and mingled amongst ourselves.  Then the show started first they introduced and up and comer she sang some beautiful music assisted by her mariachi band via DJ (lol i guess they were running late or something) Then Aventura did a set and a few others. The funny of my night was being felt up by a woman who passed me and touched my ..chest area and “appologized” all the while still had her hand on my chest area. I looked at my boss who didint know what to say, I on the other hand didint know if i should be offended or take it as a compliment.. then again it’s NYC.  Besides that it was a great time, good music lots of people there and I can’t wait to do it again (minus being felt up..lol)

(this picture is forever known as “Push the Button!!”)lol

I dont remember what time we got out of the party, But I walked around 42nd street just enjoying the lights, sounds and the warm night. We said our goodbyes to everyone and took off on our own looking for something to eat. Milton and I went to Famiglias pizza and ate some really awesome pizza. After stuffing our faces we walked around and ended up  in the Europa bar. I grabbed myself a 6 Layer gourmet chocolate mousse cake, while milton grabbed a chocolate Eclair friggin $10.00 for both and man let me tell you it was totally worth it. . I had to use my willpower to not eat the cake on the way home. But when I did,  It was sweet and moist and unexplainably good..lol  what a way to end my night. well thats my night of fun. I will be updating soon :)    ~Rose~

cake(just a picture of the cake before I attacked it and did my “cake dance”)

After Procastinating, I end up in the hospital!

the wonderful patient bed

The morning rain was the perfect setting to my mood. I was feeling like crap all morning. Since my chest was hurting, I was encouraged to go to the ER. Well I went in, and after a few chest x-rays and a checkup, It turns out I have a viral infection which causes inflamation in my lungs and that hurts like hell. I feel pressure in my chest wall which makes makes me feel like I am not getting enough Oxygen. Yep It wasn’t all fun and games. So now I am home watching TV trying to relax since i was told to drink lots of fluids and get a lot of rest, which knowing myself is not going to happen because I am always on the go.  Welcome to my life.

Our Last day- Beluga Playtime & Dining with Tillikum

Our last day here was so fun filled. I woke up at 5am and dragged my hubby out of bed. Though for a moment he complained, I reminded him it was our last day and the fun time I planned. We got dressed and headed out to Mc Donalds where i had some hotcakes (yum!). at 8am we were in SeaWorld’s Parking lot. My husband blasted my Linkin Park CD while I made sure I had the proper paperwork and planned the rest of the day. If you know me, I can plan a whole day at an amusement park in 10 minutes. I like to have a bit of a schedule and some free time within, which gives my hubby a chance to decide things also. (Its his vacation too). Once inside the park usually everyone stampedes to the dolphin feeding pool. I took a different route, i went to the dolphin nursery. It was nice spending time with no one there except the keeper. Watching the calves who tended to each other playfully jumping and splashing, while their mother’s rested on the corner was great. One of the little dolphins decided she wanted to play with me, she kept popping up and sliding back down into the water. My husband walked up to me while i was being amused by the calf. At 10:30 the other part of the park opened and I went to of course Shamu Close up. As I walked ahead of my husband down the hill to the windows, there he was slowly passing the window. I knew by the quick passing of his dorsal fin and huge body, it was Tillikum.

Big daddy was just swimming around the pool playing with an enrichment toy, it looked like a giant pool noodle. I spent a few minutes there while some people gathered and then left when he swam by and tended to the toy and swam by again. As I cooed at Tilly, my hubby went to grab a drink. After 15 minutes I headed out to Wild Arctic, to ride the ride and cool off, also to see who was in the pool. The two belugas in the pool were Maple and Juno. I snap some photos and alittle video and off to see the Polar bears and the walruses. At 11:16 I headed off, leaving my hubby in wild arctic to photograph the program. As I waited for our guide, i made fast friends with my group of four.

We all talked about sea world and the whales, while we conversed in the 90 degree heat, our guide came over and greeted us. After we walked to the trailer and changed into our wetsuit (*with some effort) the guide took us around the back area and we saw some hooded seals, and the other 2 beluga whales in the other pool. Then it was off to the fish room, she explained about the amount and types of fish each whale gets as their diet. Then it was off to meet our trainers, I was working with Maggie. Out we went to the cold frigid 55 degree waters to meet Maple and Juno. Believe me when I say Holy lord it was freezing. if you have never been in a wetsuit well it fills with a layer of the cold water and with your body heat, it warms you up.I dipped into the cool water and man it took my breath away. Maple decided to join us and we worked with her a bit, she did a few things, but she also decided to swim away a few times which is normal since she is young . So Juno (aka June Bug) came over to work with us. Juno allowed us to touch and rub him and perform a few behaviors with him. When Maple would come over and play with us, Juno tended to do something to me, mostly splash me since i was paying attention to Maple. It was overall a memorable experience, but the most memorable experience was at the end of the program when Maggie asked Juno to Hula for me, well he didnt hula, he swam up and laid his head on my lap for a moment. Everyone in my group especially the trainers giggled a moment. I smiled and waited for Maggie to have him try that again. this time he got it. I heard the other trainer tell the other that Juno is a “Lap Whale”. lol (Targeting Maple)
After we said our goodbyes to the whales and got out of our wetsuits (again with effort) I took a quick shower and headed off to meet the group again, we took pictures together and exchanged emails and said our farewells. The it was off to Shamu stadium to watch “Believe”. I sat alittle higher than I usually do because I just took a shower and I didn’t want to get wet.. Boy was my face red when Tillikum came out in his usual “Shamu” debut. First the girls came out Kalina and Taima did a double breach and kicker, Kayle did a stage slide, Malia kept messing with her trainer s bit since she wanted to try everything Mommy was doing. Then came the chant.

While I was sitting in the second upper row passed the walkway. Tilly got me good. I did not come out of shamu stadium without my hair and clothes dripping. My hubby says “he must know your leaving tomorrow, he wanted to give you a proper send off”. After the show I met one of the trainers and asked a few questions, What a nice guy Dave was. It was now 2:30pm
I walked around and bought a few things, my husband and I kept close to shamu stadium since we were going to do the Dine With Shamu program. I played Guitar Hero against my hubby and of course I won since he still needs a bunch of practice playing the game..lol 3:20pm came quick. My hubby and I went to the check in area, checked in, took a picture and went to the Cove to get out seats. We had incredible seats.

Seat 18 which was directly pool side. my hubby and me, went to grab some food. OMG I filled my plate with Garlic mashed potatoes, Turkey, chicken wings and my dessert plate with black and white M&M’s many different cakes. While my hubby acted like he hasn’t eaten in years he had some Shrimp Primavera, Beef stew some rice and i forgot what else. As we ate, the Believe show was going on which we could watch from the big screen at The Cove. After the show and our lunch, The trainers came out and Introduced themselves and our star for the DWS program. It was non other than Tillikum. I squealed with happiness. Tilly did some behaviors and the trainers brought him over to our side to have some special up close time. It was a moment I will never forget.

All in all it was the perfect end to our last day. As I walked out of The Cove, I went to the underwater viewing area and said my silent goodbye to Tilly as he swam by once again. As I walked the bridge, passed the waterfront and by the dolphin nursery, I shed a tear as we walked into the parking lot. Why i teared up- maybe because i felt sad leaving this place, maybe because it could possibly the last time i see any of the whales (as life goes on they can be moved to another park or pass away) All i know is SeaWorld is like my second home, I love being there. All i know is i enjoyed my vacation and I hope to come back next year to enjoy more times with the animals and be apart of their programs. Well its late now, time for me to go to bed i have an early flight tomorrow.

thanks for viewing ~Rose~

SeaWorld 2009- Welcome to Discovery Cove

It was a cool morning that day, we made it to discovery cove at 7:15am, Check in was quick and easy. The entrance to the check in was beautiful with large dolphins which adorn the ceiling
as you walk by. We got our map and walked around to get to know the place. It was so perfect not many people at that time. We chose a 10:30 dolphin swim because we just ate breakfast. So milton and I went to grab our wetsuits and snorkels. The people were very friendly and helpful. Once we got into our wetsuits with a bit of a struggle. It was off to the resort pool. The warm 80 degree pool was very nice and relaxing. So we grabbed a noodle and lazily floated down the river. it was wonderful. After some time in the river, we decided to head to the Aviary, It was 9am when we went in, the
birds saw us and “attacked” us. no they didint bite, they just wanted our attention. So i made friends with many species of birds, from the sweet little cockatiel, to an albino Peacock and a little cukoo (pictured below)
who i fell in love with cause of the sound he made. Alot of the birds had this thing for my hair, apparently I was an ideal place to land for them. So after the aviary it was time for the dolphin swim. We made our way to the Seahorse Cabana and waited for our instructor. Once they gave their little speech, we made our way to meet Kaylee the dolphin. Kaylee is a five year old bottlenose dolphin, She was a sweetheart. She was eager to play with us and curious little girl. Her friend Rascal was annoying her while she did the program with us. So we occasionally stopped our program so Kaylee could chase rascal away and then return to us.

The trainer Sarah, educated us about Dolphins such as Kaylee, she allowed us to touch Kaylee’s sides, pecs, fluke and face. We each took a picture with Kaylee and then Sarah allowed us to do some signals with Kaylee, alittle shake here and a spin there it was all in good fun!!. Then we each got ready and took our swim with Kaylee. We each grabbed Kaylee’s Dorsal fin and right pectoral fin and was towed to the other side of the pool.

It was by far an incredible and memorable experience. I dunno about Kaylee, but I had fun. After that She performed a tailwalk and a jump with the other group of dolphins. Among them were CJ the bottlenose/ Common dolphin hybrid, Capricorn the famous dolphin from Jaws 3 and Rascal. After her jump, Kaylee returned to us for one last cuddle and a signal. her wave goodbye. All in all it was a wonderful experience. After our dolphin sim, Milton and I went to have lunch, we fattened up on blueberry jello, chocolate cake, chicken tenders, ceaser salads and red velvet cake. All included!!.

After our lunch we went to the Stingray pool and waded around touching the cownosed rays which passed within our feet. After that, we decided to get ready and head out to SeaWorld. So we struggled back out of our wetsuits, grabbed everything out of our locker, picked up our photos and CD, DVD package which btw cost us $201.00. Need I say more..lol But the video was well done, the photos were awesome.!! At around 3:30pm we entered SeaWorld. I finally got the first look at MANTA! O-M-G it looked incredible. But we decided after our extremely fun-filled day, we’d wait to do Manta till tomorrow.

But we got a treat, we went into the Newly opened aquarium of Manta which opened the previous day. We saw the 300+ rays which filled the pool, the guitar fish which was an incredible animal to see, Many species of fishes and other incredible animals and views. After our little walkabout we headed to Shamu stadium to catch the final show that day of ‘Believe’.
The show never ceases to amaze me. Always something new. Tillikum made his Debut with his famous Alien as he jumps vertically out of the water, mouth open and pecs stretched before crashing in. He gave me an extra special treat, I always wanted to see Tilly perform a belly flop, and he did so that evening.

It was amazing to see that big amazing creature perform a jump in that way. I also got the welcoming Splash of a lifetime, 3 times in a row. With the refreshing 52 degree water yay! After that wonderful show, we went to the backstage area and watched Tillikum just resting on the surface. He is a beautiful whale. After watching him for about a half hour, we went home to recover from our incredible day!. I went comatose when i reached the hotel room bed. I didnt wake up till the next day. Well here is where I stop for now. I will write more later .

SeaWorld 2008- Last day

Its My Final day at SeaWorld, I fed the dolphins again yay!! And we FINALLY saw the beluga whale.. And ate more shamu bars.. No backstage @ Believe today :( . Though that food was amazing. We also did blue horizons again the pseudo orcas didnt come out this time, and the Believe show in which Kayla decided not to go out of the pool cause of a big fight with Katina I guess she was pissed. this picture was  before the show, apparently, Kayla was bothering Nalani from what I saw and Katina came to Nalani’s side, biting Kayla, chuffing, breaching, the works. needless to say it was an interesting show, before the main show. And Tilly couldn’t come out to splash. We did spend some major orca time with him.. I shocked the crap out of Milton when I ran half way across the stadium to catch Tillikum’s part of the believe show. And then again when we were on the bridge- I ran again the moment I heard the shamu chant. leaving Milton back on the bridge to see Tillikum do his slide out. here is the picture that i took:

Since it was Saturday, we had a chance to see Shamu Rocks which was awesome!!. Tillikum performed in the Show.. I was so happy and sitting up close right next to the slide out and man I got tidal waved (really splashed) And he came up to the slide out.. which totally made my vacation!. I shed a few tears as we left Shamu stadium, cause we were leaving SeaWorld. But it was worth going there again. Well we are going to go have some funnel cake now maybe do some shopping. We have our very early morning flight coming up. Have to be at the airport at 4am.. so I am going to do a few things and take it all in before i go back home. I will write more later.

*Update* So we did some shopping (lol key chains anyone?), got little rest, but not much since I’m not a good flyer (go figure after more than 18 years flying, you’d think I’m use to it.). We got to the airport kinda quick too ten minutes i think.. it was really fast..lol must write up route for next visit.. Being here in the airport at 4 am is not fun. I am tired and kinda cold. Milton’s passed out next to me, as we wait for our plane at the terminal. That’s it next time I’m opting for an 10-11am flight ugh!)We just had some Starbucks coffee which was pretty good. I kinda wished they had some other stores opened up.but what can I do?. Okay will I’m going to sign off now. Wish me luck I hope everything goes okay

SeaWorld Day 2- Aquatica Fun in The Scorching Sun

(picture taken as we entered the parking lot of Aquatica)
The morning was warm, Little cloudy, but that nice warm air helped the sun come out. As I walked into Sea world’s New Water park- Aquatica, newly opened a month ago. Aquatica is what you get when you cross animals with a water park. Its amazing, there are Macaws there to welcome you, along with other species of birds, kookaburra and a rare to see a Bald Eagle. Many species of fishes and the highlight of the park Commersons dolphins.” We changed quick and headed to one of the most relaxing lazy rivers i have ever been in – except for the little squirt surprises and a waterfall (which sometimes you can’t help but go under. it was great, the river passes through the dolphin habitat and the fish grotto. Then it was off to a water slide I affectionately call the toilet bowl, because you get plunged into a large striped bowl and then get flushed. There’s another reason why It’s called the toilet bowl but I’ll spare you the funny details..lol

Then it was off to suck up our fears and Hit Dolphin Plunge: that is the ride that goes directly  through the dolphin habitat.
To me the Ride was awesome..lol and Yes the dolphins really do swim over and under the slide, you can see them as they do because the slide has a clear tube for you to see the dolphin as you pass.
I rode the blue slide and Milton rode the green one. It was pretty dark for most of the moment, alone with my thoughts and suddenly a mini drop and oh the screaming..lol.. and then that moment of light in the tunnel into the dolphin pool and then the flash back to cold water reality..Apparently as tiny as i am I skipped across the water like a rock ” quote” Milton.

After that, we went to the rapids, which was fun, but man its little strenuous on your body, though your wearing a life jacket (mandatory) you still have to fight some current.. We did a few other rides, The walla wave was a funny one for me, cause I didn’t expect it to be so steep until i found myself in a raft facing Milton falling at high speed as Horrified guests watched us pass by..lol The fun part of the day was on three occasions, I was thrown, literally projected into the water by a wave from the inflatable..lol. I am doing okay. But it was a great time to be there, I grabbed some dippin dots and called it a day. Turns out the best surprise of all SUNBURN!! WE have officially learned to use Stronger Sunscreen. Well all in all an Awesome day was spent at Aquatica. We grabbed some Popeye’s Chicken and went home to take a nap. I’ll update more tomorrow our last day at Seaworld!!!

Sea World Orlando 2008- Day 1

I finally had my special time with my most favorite Orca in the world. It was such a blast. I added videos on the right side so you can view. At 6:30am we woke up grabbed a quick breakfast and got into Sea World early. The morning funny of the day was that I saluted a palm tree cause I couldn’t find the flag (which I now know is located on the sky tower) And SeaWorld always plays the national anthem before they open the park. So 9am rolled around as Milton and I both waited on line to grab some food to have some special dolphin time ($20 dollars worth). I fed some dolphins, and made a special friend within one of them, he seemed to kinda grow on Milton and me too even after the fish was gone, he was still there allowing us to touch him gently (having worked with dolphins before, I know no touching the eyes, blowhole and mouth area.. just gently touch their melon and lower jaw.) After Dolphin Cove, We went to the underwater viewing area, and just watched the dolphins swim around and socialize.. At 11:15am we went to Whale & Dolphin Stadium to see the new Blue Horizons Show. The Show was amazing, it had Flying birds, Acrobats, performing Pseudo orcas and just a score and choreography that would put ‘Circe De Soile’ to Shame! As if I haven’t started my day awkwardly enough, I was sitting really close to Milton (packed show) and the Pseudorca come to splash, I got soaked, Milton who was next to me did not.. I Told him “They were aiming for me”..lol So after the show we walked around (me being on a schedule) and went towards shamu stadium. We did a look around and saw some flamingos on parade..lol and the Clydesdale horses pulling the truck.

Then it was off to Backstage at Believe. We got into the area, confirmed out reservation, and took a picture of us poolside and then escorted to our table. The food was incredible cause of the buffet, which included: Fresh Garden Salad & Dressings , Caesar Salad , Potato Salad , Pasta Primavera , Rice Pilaf , Garlic Mashed Potatoes & Gravy(I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!), Fresh Garden Vegetable Medley , Beef Stew , Seafood Creole , Chicken Dijon , Sliced Turkey Freshly Baked Rolls & Butter , Pasta Shrimp Alfredo , Plain Noodles , Meatball Pasta Marinara , Macaroni & Cheese , Kernel Corn , All- Beef Hot Dogs , Oven Roasted Chicken (another recommendation), Fresh Fruit and Vegetables with Dip, Brownies Shamu Cookies, Assorted Pastries, Assorted Cakes (they had red Velvet cake, chocolate cakes, Black and white M$M’s .. and a Make your own SUNDAE bar OMG!!) We were lucky to have Poolside seating (as per my request..lol) Plus a behind the scenes view of the shamu family. In the pool were two mothers and their calves. Taima and her calf Malia, along with Takara and her calf Trua. The trainers had them do a few jumps and a couple other exercises. The calves were very playful and it was such a memorable experience to enjoy. I’m sure Milton’s memorable experience was the Red Velvet Cake he ate. Me it was the mashed taters..lol. After eating till we popped and cooing over the new calves, we were escorted VIP To the Believe show. The show is amazing. It shows the beauty of Orcas and how the bond of trainers and whales have grown together. I thought it was amazing. The whole point of the show is to tell everyone if you try hard enough and believe in yourself that you can make your dreams come true. Its the perfect message to children everywhere. After that we went once again to the Underwater viewing area to see Tillikum kinda far but just relaxing on the surface. I was happy because i got to see him. Then we hit Atlantis’ which im sure Milton will never do again.. well till next year. We got the front row (i wasn’t happy- I don’t like the front) Then we took a moment to get our head back and went to Wild Arctic, rode the ride and saw the polar bears.. no beluga.. he was I don’t know where..but the walrus’ were pretty cute. We then went to the dolphin nursery to see the babies.. I love the dolphin calves. Milton took some good video of them while I took some pictures.. SO worth it. I had a dolphin who kept popping up on my right side playfully playing peek a boo or rather how can i make the human females say “aww” lol. We also checked out “the Shark encounter” which wasn’t all that great. I miss terrors of the deep. We didn’t do the seal show, the manatees or the Elmo show.. not my type of thing. We caught up the last believe show of the day and then went back to our hotel room. We took a break and went to Walgreen’s and then took a looonnnggg walk around tourist area, grabbed some funnel cake and watched people get launched on the “Slingshot” .. So far a fitting end to our first day.
